We feel very fortunate to have met and spent time with Gill. She was such a lovely lady and instantly welcomed us as part of her extended family.

Gill was a lovely lady, great mum, super grandma, loyal friend and awesome crossword partner. We will both miss her terribly but will treasure our memories of her. We feel honoured to have known her.

Gill and I met at NorwichTraining College in September 1952, we shared our first meal together and so began 70 years of friendship.
We have spent many happy times, and not so happy times, together, in our single days, followed by our weddings and the birth of children and grandchildren.
Gill was devoted to David, her children, grandchildren, and wider family, a fantastic friend to me and many others - generous to us all in so many ways.
Gill had many qualities which were to be admired - for that legacy to each one of us who have had the privilege of knowing Gill, I am thankful.
The last few years were not good for Gill; she was very stoic and bore her pain with dignity and grace.
Thank you Gill for being my friend: bless you and rest in peace.
